Michael & Son embodies many things, but underlying it all is an unwavering commitment to our customers. Due to unpredicted growth we are in need of an Telemarketing Manager. This candidate will be responsible for directly supervising the sales team to ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded by soliciting past and new business. In addition, this position supervises the resolution of all complex inquiries from clients and ensures customer satisfaction.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat business through telemarketing, outside sales calls, following up on warm leads, mailings, and referrals to maximize revenues.

• Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.

• Assists sales representatives with negotiating and closing deals.

• Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop sales programs.

• Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.

• Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals.

• Analyses sales statistics to formulate policy.

• Prepares sales reports reflecting volume, potential sales, and areas of potential client base expansion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or eight years’ sales experience with at least two in sales management or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Telemarketing skills

• Knowledge of do not call register

• Experience with auto dialer (preferably Noble)

• Ability to establish action plans and goals.

• Ability to identify and develop accounts.

• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals in a telemarketing environment.

• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, staff, and customers

• Must be computer savvy.

• Must live in the Richmond, VA area or be willing to relocate.
