The Assistant Service Plumbing  Manager is responsible for the client success of the Plumbing Department.  This manager will be measured on his/her ability to exceed profitability goals; staff morale; training and development; recruiting and retention; and for providing the highest quality of service to customers.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach and mentor a team of service professionals to significantly increase sales and provide a memorable service experience for every customer.

 

  • Assume ultimate responsibility for identifying workload needs and for allocating human capital resources.

 

  • Assist with development and implementation of sales goals, objectives, policies and procedures.

 

  • Monitor staff performance standards weekly and meet with technicians to review and determine areas where additional training is necessary.

 

  • Develop formal training programs that enhance the Company’s culture, core values as well as short and long term revenue goals.

 

  • Accountable for moral, productivity and retention by fostering an environment where our employees feel valued and understood.

 

  • Identify training opportunities and provide solutions for those identified needs.

 

  • Follow-up on customer leads and resolve complex customer relations issues.

 

  • Meet with customers, technicians and dispatchers to address their concerns

 

Position Requirements

  • Willingness to contribute to the growth and success of a high performing business.

 

  • 5 (five) years service experience.

 

  • Journeyman license required, Masters preferred or eligible to take Journeyman or Master within six months

 

  • Must have in depth knowledge of gas pipe sizing; gas fitter license is preferred.

 

  • Ability to motivate teams, previous management experience is highly desirable.
